A Trail Exploring Thomas Chippendale at Harewood.

One of the greatest craftsmen of his day, he furnished country houses throughout the land. Follow our Tree to Table Trail and find out about Harewood’s outstanding collection of Chippendale furniture in different ways; in the House get up close to some of the finest furniture ever made, think about where wood comes from in a grove of trees in the West Garden and see how contemporary artists respond to Chippendale’s legacy and remind us that even the grandest piece of furniture starts life as a tree.
