Thomas Chippendale’s (1718-1778) extraordinary legacy will be explored during a study day at Firle Place organised in association with Dr. Thomas Duncan and Ciceroni to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the birth of Britain’s most celebrated cabinet maker. Chippendale’s career and supreme entrepreneurial skills will be examined. Full details of the day’s programme can be found here.

 

OPENING TIMES

Firle Place will reopen to the public on the 3rd June 2018 and will remain open until 30th September 2018.

The House opens from Sunday through to Thursday from 14.00 until 16.30 , with last admission at 16:00.
