Dr Adam Bowett, Chairman of the Chippendale Society, author and independent historian explores the woods used in Chippendale creations

Thursday 30th August; 2pm to 6pm

Adam discusses the sources and types of woods used in Chippendale’s furniture, demonstrating how Britain’s growing colonial empire provided the raw materials for his business.
